Going Undercover at Leeds Freshers’ Ball.

This week we’ve been slathering ourselves in anti-wrinkle cream and trying to pass ourselves off as 18 year olds. Why? So that we could attend one of the hottest events of the Leeds University calendar: The Freshers’ Ball. Sadly, the security saw right through our efforts (darn our pesky crows feet) but because we had a stash of silly props, they let us in anyway.

We were there as part of our work with Republic Fashion and spent the night turning people into instant internet sensations with the use of our ‘Instant Meme’ props.

We also awarded style medals to the best dressed of the evening and got the online Republic community to join in on the fun by posting top uni tips and asking tweeters to tweet their worst student recipe disasters.

Finally, although we may be a bit too old to pass as a fresher, we’re not too old to recognise a celebrity.  Consider yourself papped Rupert Grint. Now, where did we put our glasses…
